Autism Society of America (ASA)
ASA is a non-profit organization which provides a network for parents and professionals working with children with autism spectrum disorders. Autism Speaks is an organization that promotes autism advocacy, awareness, and research. Many cities have local branches that provide information and support to families and individuals with autism.
Families for Early Autism Treatment (FEAT)
FEAT is a non-profit organization of parents and professionals established to support families working with individuals diagnosed with ASD. The organization provides support and information for families and works to strengthen policies for individuals with the diagnosis.

CEC is an international professional organization for people working with children with disabilities or gifted children. The organization strives to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities through advocacy and research.
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
"The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) exists for the purpose of leading and consolidating the efforts of individuals and groups working to achieve healthy development and constructive education for all young children." The organization works to improve the quality of education for children from birth through third grade.
